The aforementioned baby seagulls who live on the rooftop across the street outside my 13th floor window at work.

They are cute in that only-a-mother could love kind of way. And we all love them. They are our children away from home and their growth, feedings, nap times and movements are tracked and passed amongst each other. Whether or not the little one got his fair share or if they're all sleeping in the same corner is, really, newsworthy stuff.

As newsworthy as the Magpie walking more and more every day? C'mon. As if.
