mid week photo op

I got to see a lot of this on the way home this evening, so I thought that I'd share it with you, too.

The train system was having difficulties, though repairs were constantly in process and nearing completion, and we were repeatedly thanked for our patience and offered apologies for the inconvenience.

It actually is reasonably convenient for me to take the train. It was more convenient for me to take the train before the Magpie was born. Now, it's just even more annoying if something like this happens: it's cutting into my baby time. How am I to be patient and understanding when my weekday time with my daughter is a mere three or four hours each day? When you start cutting into that, I'm afraid I have very little sympathy for the run-of-the-mill train car malfunction, no matter how fast transit staff are making their way to the scene.

But, they still got me home.
