oh what a strange, strange day
What started off as a rude awakening at the proper time turned into a day during which I questioned. Everything. Oh, but only everything that I was doing. And it was sort of justified occasionally - just enough to feed further questioning.
goddamnit.
So, it was extra nice to come home to a happy, singing toddler full of kisses and new words. And, even though she's now in bed, having given me good night kisses, held out Dragon and Kitty to me for good night kisses and whispered her bye byes, she's keeping the questions away.
I'm going to bed early tonight and hoping for a little sunshine tomorrow. [or not]

I am so looking forward to coming home to smiling faces, stories of the day at school, new pictures to post on the fridge, and an endless stream of chatter.
You don't know how lucky you are :)
I hope today was better. I hate days like you had yesterday...and I, too, need some sun. It is so dark here....and has been all day!
I bet the little one really helped with smiles, songs, new words, and especially the sweet kisses!
toddler kisses make everything much better.
hope today is going well...
