in-law influx

I have survived another assault visit from the in-laws.

No nasty quips or questionable comments, but they were only here for 6 hours - just enough time for 2 meals. And to work on a puzzle. And fart. Repeatedly.

Yep, they used their visit to work on a puzzle on my dining room table. Now, granted, they did need something quiet to occupy themselves while the Magpie was napping, but it was, apparently, an all consuming puzzle that required intense focus and study for the entire afternoon. While farting. Noisily and completely unashamedly. Did I mention the farting??

There are worse things. Like the Magpie making strange when her grandmother did try to pay attention to her. [heheh]

So, after grocery shopping this morning, arriving home in time to literally greet them at the door, and just getting the Magpie to bed a brief time ago, I now get to sit down at the laptop with a glass of water [we'll pretend it's a glass of this lovely port] and a little slab of chocolate halvah to unwind.

Oh, yeah. That's nice...
