I would be really really happy and excited and all that if I could only breathe
new car, leather smell
in less than twenty four hours
but sinuses stuffed

colds make me cranky
bus people give dirty looks
so I sniff louder

tomorrow's all dark
but the day after we turn
slowly back to light

Yay!! We finally got our asses in gear and bought a car!! We are really going to need it once Mr.Q goes back to work in February, but it's a 2007, so we wanted to grab it while it was still around. No photos yet, because we don't actually get the car until tomorrow, after they do whatever new car stuff they have to do to it. Not to worry, mid week photo op will be all about the car. Particularly, since I'm the one who gets to drive it [gotta love how that works]. I couldn't bring myself to go minivan and had issues driving a larger [read: taller] SUV, so it's a wagon - like this, but grey.
Now, 'scuse me, I have to go find some more Kleenex.
